Over a year ago, I had an epiphany. Overweight and wracked with pain, I realized that I was headed for a wheelchair.
Fortunately, I began my climb back to life. Back to the doctor, blood panels, physical therapy and finally-- what I had been trying to avoid all along: reforming my diet.
The rewards have been great. I'm down 40 pounds, taking fewer medications and able to DO so much more.
Am I on a diet? NO! I'm eating to save my life! (and the biggest surprise of all-- I love it.)
Postscript: Eating to Save My Life meets "Move It or Lose It" -
My husband and I now belong to a gym and work with a personal trainer weekly. What an incredible challenge this is to two 50-somethings! But move it we will!
